Where do the trucks and trailers park?
In fenced, gated yard spaces on the property, sized 10x18 and 12x24, for work trucks, dumps, trailers and equipment. If it needs to be indoors instead, the enclosed remote-entry bays run from 10x24 up to 30x20 and take box trucks, Sprinters and trailered equipment.
What is the difference between a drive-up unit and an interior climate-controlled unit?
A drive-up unit lets you pull the vehicle right to your own roll-up door and load out of the weather, which is best when you are in and out several times a week. Interior units are reached from inside the building and generally cost less per square foot. Our 10x20 drive-up units are climate-controlled as well, which is unusual for drive-up space on the East End.
Can I store tools, equipment and business inventory?
Yes. Tools, equipment, materials, product inventory, seasonal gear and client pieces are exactly what these units are for. You cannot store fuel, propane, chemicals or anything hazardous or perishable, and the unit is for storage and loading rather than for use as a workshop. Call the office if you are not sure about something.
Can my crew get in without me?
Access is by personal gate code, seven days a week from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Call the office about setting up access for a foreman or a second crew member on your account.
Will climate control actually protect finish materials?
That is the point of it. A steady temperature year round is what keeps hardwood and millwork from moving, paint and adhesives from freezing, and hardware, electronics and upholstered pieces from taking on East End damp between delivery and install.
Do you offer commercial storage for a business renting several units?
Yes, and they can sit on one account with a single autopay. If you are taking several units, or expect to grow into a larger one mid-season, call the office rather than booking online and we will line them up sensibly.
Is this a cheaper alternative to renting a warehouse?
For most crews out here, yes. You get the part you actually use, secure dry climate-controlled space with drive-up access and yard parking, without a multi-year lease, a build-out, separate utilities or a landlord. What you do not get is a space you can work in all day, so if you need a shop rather than storage, this is not that.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Everything is month to month. Take a unit for a single build, hold it through the season, or keep it year round, and move up or down a size as the workload changes.
